Exploring the world of keto approved (and not approved) foods can be a little overwhelming at first.
But once you get the hang of things and find out which foods and supplements really make a difference to your life, you can create a list of your own that you can easily refer to whenever you need to.
This is my go-to pantry list for my every day keto diet.
When it comes to doing my weekly grocery shop I’ll just choose a few from each section which I can then use to make my meals.
Some foods are absolute staples, and others are treats.
When it comes to supplements and extras, or items that are more expensive, I like to switch them around. So sometimes I’ll have a stash of chia seeds, sometimes I’ll have a tin of collagen to add to meals, and other times I’ll have a big bar of quality dark chocolate in the fridge. 🙂
I do try to buy all my meat and eggs free range. I don’t always buy organic because that’s a big price jump – but I do when I can. There are often organic cuts of meat in the reduced section, which I’ll snap up and put in the freezer when I get home.
As you upgrade your diet and your life it’s important to buy the highest quality foods and supplements that you are able to.
For me, this often means buying certain things online as opposed to at the local grocery store. I’ve added links to my favourites in the list below.
