We’re all busy women, and being able to fix a quick and easy (and delicious) keto snack is definitely a skill to have up your sleeve!

The word ‘snack’, for me, used to be synonymous with ‘something you unwrap to eat’. Like a biscuit, some crackers, a piece of chocolate or some crisps. The ‘healthy’ alternative to this was a piece of fruit. So of course, once I went keto, this had to change.

As you progress on your keto journey, you will probably find that the need or desire to snack reduces dramatically (and eventually disappears).

But in the meantime…

Here are my top 37 keto diet snacks:

  • Boiled eggs (sprinkled with Himalayan salt )
  • Cheese cubes and cucumber mixed with home-made mayo
  • Fat bombs
  • Celery and cream cheese ( in fact cream cheese with anything)
  • Cold Cuts of ham, chicken or turkey wrapped around salad leaves
  • Pepperoni sticks
  • Flax crackers with meat, cheese or butter on top
  • Pork rinds
  • Organic dark chocolate (over 75% cacao)
  • A cup of bone broth
  • Peppermint tea with coconut oil blended in
  • Keto hot chocolate
  • Any meat or veg dipped in herby or garlic mayo.
  • Kale chips
  • Macadamia or Brazil nuts (go fantastically with dark chocolate!)
  • Cheese chips
  • Egg muffins
  • Guacamole and vegetable sticks
  • Bacon (cook a bunch and then store in the fridge to snack on)
  • Quest bars (some keto-ers don’t like these but they’re fine for me)
  • Low-carb protein shakes
  • Coconut milk yoghurt
  • Jerky
  • A tin of tuna mixed with mayo and olives
  • Sardine butter (mix a tin of sardines with 85g butter and some lemon juice for a fish pate – delicious!)
  • Keto ‘cereal’ – Berries with hemp seeds, flax seeds, chia seeds, pumpkin seeds, stevia and coconut milk (slightly higher carb content)
  • Antipasto kebab sticks – fill’em up with olives, meat, cheese, veg – whatever you like
  • Pate and vegetable sticks
  • Egg fried cauliflower rice
  • Pigs in blankets aka mini sausages wrapped in bacon
  • Fried avocado slices wrapped in bacon
  • Keto cake in a mug
  • Prawns dipped in lemon juice, olive oil and garlic
  • Cucumber, tomato and mozzarella salad drizzled with olive oil, basil and salt
  • A spoonful of almond butter mixed with coconut butter (super quick!)
  • Chicken wings drizzled with butter
  • Leftovers!
